Agent Training Program
Winick Realty Group is hiring qualified applicants for our Agent Training Program, specializing in the outer boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island). This salaried, entry-level opportunity is amongst the industry’s most comprehensive and sought after programs for confident, professional, highly-motivated men and women seeking to enter and develop a career in the business of retail real estate brokerage.
Over the course of approximately eight months (or sooner as exceptional work may lead to early promotion), trainees learn the fundamentals of leasing retail real estate first hand, working directly with experienced agents and executives to gain the tools and knowledge necessary to become a successful agent. Throughout the process, trainees cover the aspects of retail leasing in-depth and complete relevant projects within each comprehensive lesson, in order to create a well-rounded understanding of the business and performing its’ services.
Trainees are responsible for actively compiling and reporting relevant market data and activity such as maintaining the company’s proprietary listing system with availabilities and comps, canvassing the streets of New York City’s outer boroughs to to update and populate the company’s street maps, and creating leads for potential clients, while assisting senior brokers with various projects.
Those who complete the program upon consistent exceptional performance, may, at the sole discretion of the company, be promoted to the position of a full-time Associate and be placed on the team of a senior broker. As an Associate, one earns commissioned pay and will be tasked with performing the company’s services including, but not limited to, representing New York City’s most established Landlords and Tenants.

- Four-year college degree or be in pursuit of one (preferred)

Research Internship
Winick Realty Group is one of New York’s most ambitious and successful retail real estate leasing firms. We currently have a part-time internship position available in our Marketing and Research Department.
While immediately assisting the Director of Marketing and Research, this internship provides an opportunity to work with experienced real estate brokers, executives, and team members to create a well-rounded understanding of the industry through the lens of marketing and research.
The Research intern will assist the Director of Marketing and Research by performing the following duties and possess the following qualifications:
- Intensive updates to our retailer database using Act! by Swiftpage (no experience in Act! required), to be accomplished by online research and contacting retail companies by phone.
- Must be comfortable and, ideally, experienced in “cold calling” companies. This does not involve seeking to “sell” our services, but in updating our database. Specifically, our database has key information on a company that requires updates from time-to-time. Intern will contact company to verify key executives are still with the company, their contact information and their role within the company.
- Superior skills in writing, grammar and spelling are non-negotiable requirements. Intern must demonstrate abovementioned skills at a superior level.
- Experience in working with Excel required.
- Proper typing skills are required.. The position entails a great deal of typing.
- Hours are somewhat flexible but minimum requirements are 10 hours per week. Can go up to 20 hours per week, but over 20 hours is possible.
- Start/end times: office opens at 9:00am, and closes at 6:00pm. Intern should start at some point in the morning and should expect to work at least four to five hours each day they are here. If preferred, intern can work up to nine hours each day.
